The welding tables and acorn style tables are used for layout, setup, and clamping of welded parts. They are also used for bending and straightening of railing, pipe, angle iron and any other metal fabrications.

Our Weldsale welding platens and welding tables are cross ribbed in both directions greatly reducing sagging and warping. The cross ribbing helps to assure a long lasting flat working surface on the top side.

The Weldsale welding platens are made from cast iron (grey iron) and are machined to .005” per foot tolerance for a work surface that stays flat for an indefinite period.

Weldsale company also has available a full line of Weldsale stands to support the Weldsale platens. Weldsale new style flush mount platen stands allow fast and efficient construction of multiple platen beds, now or later. The Weldsale stands are also known generically as the “legs” for the platens. Standard height is 32 inches. Custom heights are available with an extra lead time and extra cost.

We also have the light duty stands for the light duty platens.

Weldsale Company sells downdraft tables, welding fume extraction equipment, welding fume extractors, and general platen style welding down draft tables. Weldsale downdraft systems pull smoke and fumes through the down draft welding table and away from the welders breathing zone.

The downdraft principle (moving welding smoke away from the welder) is in keeping with OSHA guidelines regarding Hexavalent Chromium general welding smoke. The Weldsale downdraft table system is especially suitable for galvanized, stainless, aluminum and other metals where toxic fumes may occur.

Weldsale Company has available subject to market conditions re-machined used welding tables and acorn style tables. Weldsale used platens are Blanchard ground on the top surface which leaves a flat surface machined to .005” per foot. This provides a cast iron table that stays flat for an extended period of time.

We have re-machined and sold platens that were 60 sixty years old and customer satisfaction was very high. Cast iron is durable non- warping. These cast iron (grey iron) welding platens hold up for a very long period of time. Weldsale company provides tooling for used welding tables for holes sizes of 1 ¾”, 1 5/8”, and 1 ½”. New Weldsale platens have 1 ¾" holes as standard. Old Acorn style platen typically have 1 ½" holes. Please check holes size before ordering tooling.

Weldsale flame-clear pyramids are also called cutting pyramids, burning pyramids, flame clear pyramids, etc. These Weldsale flame-clear pyramids protect the cross support on cutting tables.
